The React Right Instructor Course is SSI's emergency training program, consisting of the following basic components: Primary Assessment, First Aid & CPR Skills, and Primary Stabilization Techniques, and includes two optional components: Oxygen Administration in Diving Emergencies and Automated External Defibrillation Basics. Students who complete this program earn the SSI React Right Specialty Instructor. Your training to become a ReactRight Instructor will focus on building your teaching skills as a SSI Professional Instructor. You will complete the program by our Co-Teaching Method where you teach alongside our Instructor Trainer while teaching real students. You must get a 90% or better on the final exam.

What do I need to sign up for a React Right Course :
The only requirements are that you’re at least 18 years old and have CPR and First Aid training within the past 24 months. A ReactRight Instructor rating is required to become a Open Water Instructor, but you don’t have to wait until you’re ready to go pro. You can complete or refresh this training during or prior to your ITC training.
